Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was busy and super fun, just how I like it. Friday started out with a Luau potluck and then a fun birthday party out at the lake. After that we decided to go check out the Kirksville High School football game. Say loved the chance to run around on the grass and be crazy. The best part was at half time when the band did their little routine out on the field. Saylor was looking right at the person standing up high conducting and she started waving her arms around like she was conducting the band. Ty actually got a really good video of it but it won't load for some reason, but it was super cute.
Me and Erica at the game. I love high school football games, something about going to the town's high school football game made it feel like home:)
On Saturday we had to go down to Columbia to get our car checked but for me that meant a little shopping too!! I got to go to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Target and Old Navy! It had been a while so it felt good to shop and they were having great sales at Old Navy so Saylor got some cute new clothes! We got home from Columbia just in time to go to the rodeo.

Sadly this was the only picture I got at the rodeo before my camera died but Saylor climbed all the way down the bleachers and right up this step stool so she could have a front row seat for all the action. She had a great time playing in the dirt and watching all the horses and bulls.
Monday they had a children's social at Truman stadium with all the football players, some cheerleaders and the mascot. Saylor loved it!

Dressed in her blue and orange getting ready for the BSU game!
Say stood right behind the cheerleaders when they were teaching a cheer
At first Say was a little nervous around the bulldog mascot...
She ended up playing catch with him almost the entire time we were there
She definitely warmed up to him by the end!

We came back home to have a big football party for the Boise State game!! We had two kinds of delicious chili, cornbread, watermelon, homemade salsa, queso, muddy buddies and no bake cookies, so delicious! And the game was awesome too!
Saylor loved having Maddie and Gavin over to play during the game. They all climbed into her crib together. Say loves these two.
Totally unrelated to the weekend but this is what Saylor looks like when you let her feed herself breakfast...
Yogurt covering her entire body! She had a nice long bath right after this.

Coming soon....pics of the inside of our house!
