I LOVE my cricut!

I got a cricut for Christmas and I have been having so much fun with it! Who knew I would be such a crafty one? Here are some pictures of Saylor's room (well her corner of our room) before I used my cricut...

And after...

I cut out some cute flowers to put on the wall

And I put this saying above her bed
We also got this beautiful picture of the Salt Lake temple for Christmas but the wall it was on needed a little something more so I added this saying underneath

For Valentine's Day I wanted to put up some decorations so I just decided to make a cute be mine sign...

I'm currently working on Happy Spring and Happy Birthday signs. I eventually want one for every holiday. Here are some other random crafts I've done lately...
I decorated a bucket to put Saylor's headbands in

And I've been making lots of these cute flowers! My next project is a Gospel ABC book for Saylor's birthday...hope I can get it done in time!

Ice Castles

On President's Day we went up to Midway to see these beautiful ice castles made purely of ice, they were amazing.
There were tons and they were super huge, we even got to walk through one of the bigger ones.
Our Happy Family

Everybody!

Say was lookin so cute in her winter coat...

Afterwards we all went and ate at Dairy Keen in Heber, delicious!
Me, Ty, Sarah and Matt decided to make a quick trip to Park City while we were all the way up there so we could check out the baby clothes! We got some real cute stuff!

When we got home later that night Saylor spent a whole 20 minutes trying to put her onesey on, I thought it was so cute so I started filming her.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was so awesome this year. I just love holidays and Valentine's Day is one of my favs. Since it was on a Sunday we did all our celebrating on Saturday. Me and Sarah decided we wanted to do a cool surprise for our husbands so we each made up clues of significant places in Provo and sent them on a scavenger hunt all over town! (we each had a separate scavenger hunt) Me and Sass spent forever making up cute little rhyming clues and decorating them all cute
I'm so glad we had a chance to reminisce at all our romantical places since this will be our last Valentine's Day in Provo. We went to where we had our first date at Outback...

Where we went on one of our first dates long boarding and I fell... (we were hoping to actually get to go long boarding but the canyon was way too snowy!)

Brick Oven where we ate so much when we were dating cause I lived across the street...

Our old apartment down in Provo, and to name some others-where we had our first kiss, where Ty fell in love with me sledding, where we stayed out all night in the canyon, where Ty made me dinner on our first Valentine's Day and some other ones. It was so fun to go to all the places together. I made Ty take a picture at each one and I video taped him reading each clue.
Our last stop was at Ty's mom's house (where we first held hands) where we met Matt and Sarah!!

We made heart shaped pizzas together and drank martinelli's

Then we had some delicious chocolate fondue for dessert!

We finished out the day by making sugar cookies and watching the Olympics! It was the best day ever!! Me and Ty had previously agreed to not get each other presents this year but Ty cheated and got me some super cute white Uggs! Thanks for being my Valentine Ty, I love you so much!! I got up at 4am this morning to take Ty to the airport where he is on his way to an interview in Missouri. I am going to miss you so much babe!

I had to get a belly shot of Sass since she's about to pop any day now! She looks so cute!

Update on Saylor's Hands

WARNING: THESE PICTURES ARE EXTREMELY GRAPHIC, DO NOT PROCEED IF GROSS THINGS MAKE YOU FEEL SICK INSIDE
I really debated putting these pictures up on the blog but I've had a lot of people request to see them so I figured this was the easiest way. It also is really cool to see the progression of how her hands have healed over the last month. Most people we show these pictures to say her hands look way worse than they ever could have imagined. So I am sorry to anyone who happens to come across these pictures by accident and see things they don't want to see. I already talked about how horrible the day was when she burned her hands but the worse part is we had to relive that every day when we took her into the doctor to have her hands looked at, cleaned, have all the dead skin pulled off and have them re-wrapped. It was heart wrenching.

This picture was taken two days after Saylor burned them, this is the worst they ever looked but they kept telling us they would look worse before they looked better. I was holding Saylor but I could hardly look at her hands without feeling like I was going to pass out.

This picture was taken about a week after they were burned, still pretty bad
We took this picture at the burn clinic where they sent us to make sure she had no 3rd degree burns. Thankfully she didn't so she didn't need skin grafts. They were starting to look so much better.

This was about a week ago and she only had a few scabs left.

We took this picture yesterday and her hands look amazing!! It is a miracle. I can't believe how well they have healed. Thank you for all the prayers in her behalf!! Saylor's cousin Tra told me that Saylor's hands got better because they prayed for her every day and I know that is absolutely true.

And I had to add a happy picture for the end! Saylor is doing great!

11 months!

When did my baby get so old? Oh man, Say is such a little girl these days. She is turning into such a sass too, it's so funny. She learned how to spit and she especially loves to do it when food or medicine is in her mouth so it goes spraying all over my face! Saylor also throws her head back when she gets mad. She is still walking along furniture going everywhere. I thought she'd be walking by now but the whole burned hands thing slowed her down a bit this month :(
She had to wear huge mits on her hands for about two weeks but they didn't slow her down. The first few days she didn't really crawl and just wanted to be held but then she was right back to her normal self. She was crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on things again.
I made the flower she is wearing, I was so excited!
Saylor loves being chased. She will start crawling and look over her shoulder and gives the look like come and get me! She laughs and laughs when you come after her and its seriously the cutest thing ever. Hearing Saylor laugh is the sweetest sound to my ears, its pure joy.
Hanging out with her cousin Morgin. Saylor is always waving, you can see how good her hands are looking too. When I take her to the store she just waves at everyone she sees.

This is such a classic Saylor face. She always puts her lips like that and says "ooo"

Her first pigtails!!

This little airplane toy is her most favorite thing. She pushes the buttons all day long to hear it make music and she bounces along and now also moves her head from side to side.
Saylor is very good at drinking out of a cup

Oh man what a cutie. The words Saylor says now are dada, mama, yeah, wow, woah and baba.
