37 1/2 weeks

Holy cow I'm huge! This picture almost looks fake but don't worry I really am this enormous! My belly is now 44 inches around. My sub plans are done and I've given my sub all the instructions she needs to take over my class so Saylor can come any time now. My family is coming today so I would have no problem having a baby this weekend!

37 weeks!

Sorry...no picture. Ty is at the library of coarse so I don't have anyone to take one of me at the moment. Well, I went to the doctor today for my 37 week appointment and I was excited to find out that I am dialated to a one and I am 75% effaced! (You have to be at 100% to go into labor but I am pretty close!) The doctor said that is more than most people are by 37 weeks and he said he would bet money on me having this baby early!! That made me super happy but I have to keep in mind that I still could go all the way to my due date so I shouldn't get too excited. Having our friends Danielle and Steve over for dinner last night with their 2 week old baby also made me so anxious to have a baby of my own! I haven't been feeling too sick lately, I'm mostly just really really uncomfortable but at least the end is in sight!

Valentine's Day Weekend

Tyler and I had such a fun Valentine's Day! We started our day going to the temple with Tyler's cousin who is leaving on his mission in a couple weeks. What a perfect way to start Valentine's Day, going to the temple always makes me love Ty even more. After that we went out to breakfast to IHOP with Ty's family. Then we met up with my friends. Jules and Nate came down from Rexburg so we met them and Matt and Sarah in Salt Lake. We wanted to make it extra special because it was Sarah & Matt and Jules & Nate's first Valentine's being married, and me and Ty's last one without having any kids!

We went to the Church History Museum together to look around. It was really cool, I had never been there before.

After driving all over town to find a place to eat on Valentine's Day we finally decided to eat at Rodizio's even though it was a two hour wait. After dinner we went to stay the night in a hotel (thanks Jules!) We played the newlywed game, went swimming and played Uno H20 in the pool. We had so much fun being together.

On Sunday me and Sarah wanted to impress our husbands with a really delicious meal. We planned it all out and made sure we had everything to make lasagna, salad, homemade rolls and cheesecake for dessert. Sarah and I decided we need more practice as cooks because after many difficulties we didn't eat until 9pm. It was still really yummy though!

Pregnant Mountain Man

We had our 4th grade mountain man rendezvous on Friday so I tried to dress up as a mountain man. It was pretty much a party all day long because we had our Valentine's party in the morning and our rendezvous in the afternoon. I love being a teacher on Valentine's Day. The kids spoiled me with flowers, boxes of chocolate, stuffed animals and tons of yummy candy! The kids were so cute because some of them gave me two valentines, one for me and one for Saylor. It's also so funny to find out about all the little crushes going on in my classroom. At the rendezvous all the moms kept asking me if I was trying to go into labor because I was arm wrestling, leg wrestling and doing the stick pull with kids in my class. It was tons of fun!

35 weeks...almost

In two days I will officially be 35 weeks with only 5 weeks to go. Time is going by really quick which I am thankful for. The weeks fly by while I'm teaching school and I've also been taking a yoga class, an institute class and shopping for baby clothes any chance I get. I wish I could say I'm still feeling great but the last few weeks I've just been super uncomfortable, can't sleep, my back aches and I have to go to the bathroom now about 20 times a day. I haven't had any nausea or sickness either until now which is strange to be getting in my third trimester but maybe it's because my stomach is so squished these days. It also doesn't help to have a super active baby kicking me all day long (which I actually love). I hate to complain though, I've been so lucky to be so healthy and feel so good up to this point.
Tyler and I took a prenatal class on Saturday and it got us all excited for Saylor to come. It also made it feel a little bit more real even though me and Ty still look at each other everyday and say, "I can't believe we're having a baby!" We are so excited!

I finally found some cute bedding for Saylor that I am totally in love with! Now I just need a crib! (and a baby!!)
