Boise Highlights

We had a wonderful two weeks in Boise with my family. I always forget just how much I love it there. I also forget how much I am exactly like my family. I realized that I've lived away from home for almost 7 years now! Hopefully someday I'll make it back there for good. Here are some of the highlights of our trip, I tried to keep it short but sorry, it really isn't.

I was so glad we got to be there for Spring Show! Sweet Liberty puts on a huge show at the end of the year so we got to watch Kirstie do all of her dances one last time. Plus all the dancers pick a guy for dancin' dudes which is always hilarious. My mom was also very good in the parent dance (especially since she was in the bathroom when they went out on the floor and she had to run out to the front row at the last second) It's sad we won't be around to watch Kirst dance her senior year:( She made captain for next year and she'll be amazing!
Me and Ty celebrated 5 years being married while we were there!! My parents were so generous and not only gave us a free night in any Marriot hotel, but they babysat Saylor overnight so we could spend our first night alone since Saylor was born! Well, I should probably give Kirstie most of the credit since she was the one up with her in the night, thanks Kirst!

We celebrated our anniversary with Matt and Sarah because there's was only 4 days earlier and it was our last time hanging out all together before we move to Missouri! We ate out at cheesecake factory and then we went swimming at the hotel. We had so much fun playing the toothpick game and making up a sweet sychronized swimming routine which Matt and Ty were very much a part of. Don't worry, we separated after that.
Mother's Day was absolutely awesome. After church they led us to the backyard and gave us drinks and let us relax while everyone else made dinner:) Ty also wrote me two notes. (Notes are my most favorite thing ever) One was from him and the other was from Saylor thanking me for all the things I do for her as her mom, cutest thing ever.
I'm so glad I got to share Mother's Day with my own amazing mom. I've come to appreciate her more than ever after becoming a mom myself. I've realized how many sacrifices you make as a mom but in the end it is soo worth it when your little girl wakes up from a nap saying "mama" and reaches for you with a big smile to give you a great big hug. Being a mom has made my life so wonderful.
All the girls
For as long as I can remember my dad has had the tradition of making an extra deluxe dinner for my mom on Mother's Day.
This year for dinner we had lobster tail and chiken kabobs
For dessert, we had homemade creme brulee, it was delicous! Here is my dad torching the top.We had a great game of croquet and even Saylor got to play...

My dad wins every time!
Just some cute pics of Say, I used to make fun of the parents who thought their kids were the cutest thing that ever happened, but I'm guilty of just that!

My family went out to Tucanos to celebrate Ty's graduation since they couldn't be there.
Saylor loved it
On our last day there we all went to the zoo, Saylor loves to ride on Uncle Zach's shoulders
Saylor is the most dramatic little girl ever, her reactions to everything are hilarious
Riding on the giraffe
The Whole Fam (minus Kirst)
Riding in the jeep
We tried Saylor's sunglasses on Ester but she didn't like that very much.
So Saylor wore them instead
Riding the carousel with Grandpa, I think he might have had more fun than Saylor Going down the big slide, Say has no fear and went down all by herself!
Sarah and Ester
Ready for a push!
She would look a little nervous while going down but she was always smiling at the bottom and wanted to go again!
Saylor was so excited to see the tiger! She has been growling ever since.
Feeding the goats
Saylor loved driving the jeep!

Now the countdown to Missouri is on...we have two weeks in Utah, a week in California, two more weeks in Boise and one last week in Utah before we move. It still doesn't even seem real.

Pedi's with the Girls

For Mother's Day me, Autumn and Shoni took Ty's mom to get a pedicure. She had never had one before and we also thought it'd be a good chance to just hang out with the girls:) It was funny because we wanted it to be a surprise so we were trying to figure out how to trick her. Delynn being the wonderful Grandma she is called me and asked if me and Tyler wanted to go on a date that night and she would babysit Saylor for us. (She does this a lot...we are sooo spoiled!!) So I told her we'd come drop Saylor off but I showed up alone and told her she was going on a date with the girls instead.

Autumn was pretty excited!
I was seriously so excited about the flower they painted on my toe I couldn't stop looking at it! Autumn thought it was hilarious so she took a picture of me.
I had to take a picture of my toe, its seriously so cute.
Our cute toes!
I'm so lucky to have such a great mother-in-law and such fun sister-in-laws!!
