Friends Weekend

Jules and Bre came down from Rexburg this weekend so we all decided to go up to my cabin on Friday night. We had so much fun just being together because it's been so long. We made the most delicious tinfoil dinners and cobbler!
Ty and Nate were out building the fire while we were inside making the tinfoil dinners, freaking out because we were all together and reminising about old times.
We hung out by the campfire and sang songs and laughed tons. Then we stayed up late playing games. We went to bed at 2am and Jules got up at 5am to run a half marathon-she's amazing!Steve had a game up in Ogden this weekend so me, Ty and Bre went up to watch the game with Rachel. It was so great to see Steve and Rach!
I have the most amazing friends in the whole world. I love that we are still so close and that we always will be. I also love that Ty loves my friends just as much as I do. We can't wait for the day when we can all live close again. (Friends neighborhood!)

Utah State Fair

Me, Sarah, Ty and Matt went to the Utah State Fair to see Chris Cagle in concert this week. You gotta love the free country concerts! We were right up at the front dancing and singing along the whole concert. It also happened to be all you can eat ice cream day! You pay $3 to go into this tent where you can eat as much ice cream as you want! They have every flavor you could think of and all the toppings plus ice cream sandwiches and creamies. We were in Heaven!
The very next day the 4th grade had a fieldtrip to the fair so I got to go again! I really have been blessed with an amazing class this year, I feel like they are the class from heaven. They are so well behaved, it has been so nice. I do miss my students from last year still but they still wave to me and give me lots of hugs in the hall.
These are some of my adorable students at the fair!

We got to see this awesome tiger show while we were at the fair. I love being a teacher! I think I was more excited about it than some of the kids!

Camping on Labor Day

This is a little late but we went camping with my family over Labor Day weekend. We got a little lost on the way there and had to spend the first night alone because we couldn't find my family and there was no service on our cell phones so we couldn't just call. (How did people ever survive without cell phones?) But it was an adventure and luckily me and Ty had our own tent that we set up and went to sleep in. On our way there we went through a tiny little town called Robertson! When I first saw the 7,289 on the sign I looked at Ty and said, "Wow, there is a lot of people that live here, I can't even see hardly any houses." Then I realized the number was for the elevation. Oops!

We camped next to a really pretty lake and even got to go canoeing!

Kirst and I looking gorgeous with no makeup

It was really cool because it is very rare to have all of my family together. There were so many people in the area camping that they had sacrament meeting in a big lodge and everyone just came in their camping clothes. It was such a fun weekend with lots of yummy food made in the dutch oven!

Bridesmaid Photo Shoot

Tyler's cousin Taylia is getting married in 3 weeks so all the bridesmaids got together yesterday for a photo shoot. We had a lot of fun all getting ready together and then going to the park to take pictures. Taylia wanted us to look like we were from the 50's so we all wore matching black hair nets (not the lunch lady kind) and black gloves. I felt very dainty.
I look really pregnant in this picture!

We were having fun coming up with all different poses!

Me & Ty

I never realized getting family pictures was so difficult...it's hard to get three kids to sit still and smile all at the same time!
