Cinderella Party

Saylor's cousins Jess and Morgin decided to plan a Cinderella party because Cinderella was coming out on DVD.  The movie came out the day after we left Utah so Saylor had to miss their party!  She was super sad, so I told her she could invite some friends over and have a Cinderella party in Missouri.

Decorating pink cupcakes!
The girls all came dressed in princess dresses and we decorated crowns and played pin the crown on Cinderella. (I had stuff leftover from Say's 3rd birthday, ha!)  They got to eat princess fruit snacks and have ring pops while we watched Cinderella!

 Such adorable little princess girls!

Saylor was super mad when I took this picture....but she makes a really cute angry princess!

My Trip Home

Southwest tickets went on sale for 50% off so my extremely generous, loving mother bought tickets so my girls and I could fly out for a couple weeks.  My little sister Kirstie is getting married in December, so we decided to have a bridal shower for her in Utah and Idaho while I was there.  I was so glad I could be there for these exciting events, especially since she is my only sister and everything and I didn't want to miss out!

I was sooo nervous to fly alone with both my girls and although there were moments of craziness when Oaks needed a diaper change and Say had to go potty and all three of us were crammed in the tiny airplane bathroom, we survived!  It's funny to me how I was freaked out to fly alone with Saylor when she was a baby and I just did it with two!  I guess your abilities as a mom grow as your family does.

The Shower in Utah was mostly with family.  We had it at my Aunt Kristina's house who always opens her beautiful home for parties!

Oakley...always eating ( I don't blame her though, all the food was AMAZING!)
I was in charge of the games for this shower so I made mustaches and tiaras for everyone.  I read facts about Kirstie and Kyser and you had to hold up a mustache if you thought it was Kyser and a tiara if you thought it was Kirstie.  So fun! The little girls especially liked it and looked super adorable doing it!

Opening up some scandalous lingerie...I just love Isabelle's expression in this picture!

The day after the shower we drove up to Boise so we could go to the Boise State vs. BYU football game!
We had a very divided family at the game...me and Kirst rooting for Boise, my dad, Mr. Ultra BYU fan and my mom, undecided, so she wore a BYU shirt and a BSU hat.  My family gave me the hardest time ever for cheering for Boise State when I graduated from BYU.  It was a super hard choice...but Boise is my home!

The BYU fans being sad after their loss
Sam and Kristina and their six kids came up for the game and stayed the whole weekend.  Saylor and Oakley had such a blast hanging out with their kids.  We spent a day at the zoo.

It was SO nice to have so much help with my girls.  Ty is super helpful but he is never around anymore so I usually feel like a single mom.

Hanging out with Grandma Idaho.  Say loved being Grandma's little helper all week in the kitchen.  Grandma also took her to Jump Time, the park, McDonald's and U-Swirl.  My girls are so lucky to have such amazing Grandmas!!
 Quinton is such a cutie!
Slides are one of Oakley's favorite things so I knew she was going to LOVE the giant giraffe slide!
 Say liked it too
While in Boise I got to meet up at the park with one of my best friends Juliana and her adorable little twins that are Oakley's age.

It was such a fun park day!
Here are some pics of the shower we had in Boise that was decorated SOOO cute!

My mom and I made this cake for the shower and I think it turned out so fun and it was delicious too!
I also made these little tres leche cakes with fruit on top

Kirstie and her cute friends Carlie and Presley
Look at this gorgeous bride to be!  She is going to be the most beautiful bride ever! I had so much fun hanging out with Kirstie all week.  She is the greatest.
Before flying back to Missouri we had a couple days to hang out in Utah.  I love that I am so close to Ty's family that I can stay with them and go to his family events with out him and feel completely at home and part of the family.  I don't think many people get that lucky to have such amazing in-laws.  Say was in heaven hanging out with her cousins.

Beautiful girls Jess and Saylor
I totally miss Sunday dinners at Ty's grandparents, sitting in the front yard in the nice weather, eating delicious food and hanging out with some of my most favorite people!

I miss the mountains so bad!! Timp is my absolute fav!
 Oh I love this girl!

Say, Jess and Morgan making up awesome dance routines on the tramp.
I didn't get any pictures but on Monday we had a girl's day with me and my girls, Ty's mom and Shoni and her girls.  We went up to Park City and went shopping, got lunch and ate                        it at the park and then came back and went to Kangaroo Zoo.  Our time in Utah was short but it was jammed packed with fun like usual and we loved it.

Sorry for the picture overload! It's always kind of hard to come back after such a fun trip but Ty really really missed us and we were happy to be back together again.  I kind of like him.
