California!

We had so much fun on our trip to California. It was a much needed break away from the cold of Utah and it was just so fun to hang out with my fam. Kirstie had nationals for Dance so we also got to spend a lot of time watching her which was awesome. Disneyland was a whole new experience with a baby. Saylor loved all the rides and parades and characters and watching her reactions to everything was priceless. It was also very tiring with a baby and tricky to figure out naps and eating and waiting in lines was definitely not her favorite thing. Me and Ty decided we for sure need to bring a Grandma with us on every trip we take to Disneyland because it got so much easier when my parents got there. It was Saylor's 1st trip to Disneyland which is kind of monumental so we took a whole lot of pictures...

We stopped in Vegas on our way down and went to the flower room at the Bellagio. We also got to stay with our friends Lori and Sean and their adorable little baby Thea. I was sad I didn't get a pic of Saylor and Thea playing together.

Exploring Tarzan's treehouse with Grandma and Grandpa I let Ty do Saylor's hair and this was how it turned out...actually pretty cute
Saylor got plenty of time to practice her new walking skills
At the dance competition
Kirst is such an amazing dancer and Sweet Liberty did so well. They got 1st in Prop which also won the Judges Award of Excellence (they picked their 3 favorite out of hundreds of dances!) and Best Choreography. In Military they not only won first in their division but first in all military divisions. They also got 2nd in Kick. Now my sister is a National Champ! It was so fun to watch them. It was also really cool to watch all the other amazing teams, I especially liked the all guys hip hops teams. They were awesome. We also got to see our friends Courtney and Tyson and their little boy Colter and sadly I didn't get a picture of that either but it was so fun to catch up for a few minutes.

Trip to the beach with Grandma and Grandpa

We dipped Saylor's feet in the water again to see how she would react and it was the same...screaming!

Saylor loved the Jungle Cruise
Teacups
Me and Kirst in the O
Riding Winnie the Pooh, by far Saylor's favorite ride

Finding out what character Saylor is...she was Tinkerbell!
Quick power nap while waiting in line at Peter Pan Riding Dumbo
Meeting Mickey Mouse
Meeting Belle
Meeting Ariel
Saylor loves Disneyland!
In front of the Castle
Enjoying a parade

Saylor's reaction to the parade was one of my favorites...she is such a party girl!

Saylor showing off her new walking skills
The drive home was long so we actually sent Saylor on the plane with my parents and Ty's mom picked her up in Salt Lake where they had a layover. Tyler and I had the chance to stop in Vegas again and look at the school Ty got accepted to and some apartments there. It was good to get a feel of what it might be like to live there. Just this morning Ty found out he has also been accepted to a school in Missouri so it's big decision time for us! Wish us luck!

Looks like so much fun! I'm sad too that you didn't get a pic of Saylor with Thea, I would love to see a pic of her! Tell Ty I said "congrats" on getting into both schools! Good luck on the decision and I can't wait to hear what you decide!
