Christmas 2014

Between having 3 kids, being young women's president and having a husband in medical school....blogging is just not finding the time these days.  But I really want to try and somewhat keep this blog up to date, it is my only way of journaling or scrapbooking and I have loved looking back on previous posts. I will be so sad later if I don't do this!  So...here are some pics of Christmas only 5 months later haha. Better late than never!

Saylor at her Kindergarten Christmas program!

It was so fun having both Grandma's there!
A great part about living in Utah is everyone has family here so most of our friends end up coming to visit at Christmas! It  felt so great to be together with lots of our Kirksville friends. We really have missed them all so much!

This was the best we could get with all the kids...we have a lot of them!
Saylor still talks about her best friend Eden all the time and these girls played and played like they had never been apart.
These girls are pretty darn cute!
And silly haha!

We invited all of Ty's family to come to our house to have a sugar cookie decorating party. We love being close to our family!
Uncle Tallon
Saylor and Morgin
Shoni, Oaks and Trist
Uncle Zach
Oaks and Tristin
Tra and Tallon

We made stockings with Zach and Autumn! We love hanging out with those cute newlyweds!

We got to spend time with both sides of the family on Christmas Eve. Tripp got to be baby Jesus in the nativity, Saylor was Mary and Oaks was a shepard.

Christmas Eve with Ty's family....so many cute little blondies!

Doing my favorite Christmas tradition...dancing around the tree!

After all the partying, we came home and the girls each opened frozen pajamas to wear to bed.

They were pretty excited!

Sure love these girls!
All ready for bed and setting out cookies for Santa
The girls got a trampoline for Christmas and we wanted them to wake up to it all put together.  We asked some of Ty's family to come down Christmas Eve to help Ty put it together.  The girls were in bed and we were excitedly getting everything ready for the next morning. I took this picture of them putting the tramp together in my excitement with out really thinking twice about it. Saylor found a picture on my phone a few weeks later with the tramp all put together from that night. In my mind I was thinking, oh dang I just ruined the whole Santa thing for her. But Saylor just asked, "Were you guys just so excited when you saw the tramp that Santa brought that you called Tallon and Grandpa and everyone down to jump on it with you?!" Yes, Saylor, that is exactly what we did:) Hahaha
I finally got Oakley's stocking made! She asked for a cupcake and a gingerbread house:)
It was so fun to wake up at our own house Christmas morning and have Christmas with our own little family! This was our first time!
Love these 3 cuties more than anything!

We took each of the girls shopping to pick presents for each other. It was pretty fun to let them pick whatever they wanted to get for their sister.

Saylor had been telling everyone that all she wanted for Christmas was a violin! Luckily we were able to find this toy one. (Real ones are a little out of our price range at this point!) Saylor is obsessed with Lindsay Sterling and wants to be just like her. I was glad she was happy with this toy for now.

After opening presents at home we went up to Grandma's house. Ty's mom's very favorite thing is to spoil her grand kids rotten! Christmas is of coarse her favorite time to do it. We were opening presents for a really long time...
Tripp loved his Christmas present!

It was a happy day! The day after we drove up to Boise and spent a week with my family.  Of coarse I didn't take any pictures but we had a really fun time! Matt and Sarah were in town so we did lots with them. One of our favorite things was going up to a hot springs on New Year's Eve in zero degree weather. It was awesome! Another highlight was hooky bobbing at midnight and screaming so loud that the cops got called on us. (Sarah and I were to blame for that haha) We also had a blast hanging out with Matt, Sarah and Kirstie for the rest of New Year's Eve and going hog wild at Ben's house and having the traditional breakfast at midnight at Matt's house. We hadn't seen Matt and Sarah for a year so we had to do lots of playing to catch up!
