The girls and I savor the random Saturdays when Ty gets to be home with us. One Saturday we played outside in the leaves and enjoyed Fall...and Dad.
I love my cute, crazy girls!
Cannon ball!
It makes me so happy when my girls play together

I love that my girls are so brave. They let Ty throw them right into the pile.
One of my most favorite things of the whole year is KCOM prom!!! I LOVE a good dance party! Ty doesn't love it quite as much as I do, but he's a good sport and dances crazy with me! I'm sad this was our last year going, we had such a fun night!
We actually wore the exact same thing we wore last year haha, thanks for the dress Autumn!
Ty only got 3 days off for Thanksgiving this year but it was still a welcomed break! We had Thanksgiving with the McGrews, Warners, Nielsons, Crossleys and Vidinhas. We had TONS of food and it was all sooo good!
We are so thankful for great friends! I told my friends it's sad to be away from family on holidays and I'm so excited to be living by family next Thanksgiving....but next year I'll be missing all my friends! They have all become like family to us.
Thanksgiving was such a great day! I have so much to be thankful for. The perfect husband that is sacrificing so much right now to be in medical school but still somehow always takes care of us and makes sure he spends every spare second he has with us doing fun things, adorable kids that have made my heart fill more than I ever thought possible and are so hard but make me laugh and make me a better person every day, amazing friends who help keep me sane living in a tiny town with a husband always gone and who teach me to be a better mom and two super supportive extended families that we can't wait to see soon!
The day after Thanksgiving we were ready to start celebrating Christmas! We went with a group of friends to go cut down a tree!
They have the cutest little tree farm out here with the most adorable little log cabin.
Scoping out the trees!
Oakley fell in love with this dog and kept trying to hug him!
Helping Daddy cut it down!
We got one of the biggest trees they had! It barely fit in our house!
They have a machine that shakes the trees to get out all the bugs/spiders/loose pine needles. Oakley would freak out and start dancing every time they turned it on!
Oaks loves her friend Owen
We made Christmas sugar cookies for Family Night this week! We tried to fit in as many Christmas activities as we could before Ty got completely overwhelmed with school and finals coming up.
Silly girls
These pictures are actually from back in October but I had to post about Ernie's baptism! Ernie's wife Chauntelle is a med student that Ty and his friends met at school. She was baptized as a child and grew up in Hawaii never really being active in the church. Ernie and Chauntelle became our really good friends! They started coming to our ward about a year ago after our friends Lisa and Marshall invited them and Ernie started taking the discussions a few months ago. Ernie and Chauntelle are some of the most amazing people I have ever met! They have such a desire to learn about the gospel and do what's right. It strengthened my testimony so much to be a part of some of their discussions and see their testimonies grow. Ernie's baptism was such a perfect day! We felt so blessed to be a part of it!
Chauntelle's grandparents are the only active members of the church in her family and they flew all the way out from Hawaii to be at the baptism! They were amazing and we felt so lucky to get to meet them!
We wanted to do something special for Ernie and since he is from Hawaii we decided to smoke a pig! I posted pics on instagram of the pig on our kitchen counter, it was huge!
So I never really posted about it but we found out we are moving to Provo, Utah in June for Ty to do his rotations! We are SOO excited!! We are also driving home in 2 weeks for Christmas! My little brother got home from his mission in Mexico City last week so we can't wait to see him! This is the longest I've ever gone with out seeing family so I've been a little bit homesick and just can't wait to see everyone!
