Fall Break in Boise

For Fall Break we went up to Boise for the weekend. Saylor was seriously the best baby ever on the drive there. She only cried about 10 total seconds and the rest of the time she either slept or just played quietly. For part of the time me and Ty were listening to music and singing along to it and we could hear Saylor babbling along too, it was so cute.

Carving Pumpkins
The pumpkins all lit up!I've been taking a cake decorating class for fun this month so while I was there we also had a cake decorating contest so I could practice my skills...
Pres and Kirst
Kels and Zach made this amazing ocean cake with sand, sea weed, fish and even a palm tree, I'm pretty sure they were the winners.
Me and Ty made a pumpkin cake, Ty pretty much made me do all the work but he did do those really good leaves on the side of our cake, he was a professional leaf maker.
My mom watched Saylor so me and Ty could do my favorite thing...go on a bike ride on the greenbelt.

Me and Ty even stopped in the spot where he proposed. We had a great weekend, can't wait to go back for Thanksgiving!

7 months

Oh man, Say is 7 months!! She has gained a TON of weight this last month, she is really starting to chub up and I just love her chunky little thighs! Her hair has also grown a lot on the top this month but one day I noticed that her long dark mullet had fallen out! I was kind of glad though, her new hair is coming in pretty blonde. Saylor is such a hyper baby. She never sits still, even when she is eating her body is constantly in motion. People always comment that it looks like she is trying to fly because her arms are always flapping high speed. Saylor is laughing a lot more this month (she's really ticklish) and also babbling a ton (even when she is sad which is super cute). She can crawl backwards and in circles but still hasn't figured out how to crawl forward. That doesn't stop her from going all over the place though. I take so many pictures of her that as soon as she hears the camera turn on she smiles and looks up at me. Sometimes when she is crying I will turn on the camera just to make her stop and smile, I have her trained well! Saylor LOVES taking baths and I get soaking wet every time because she splashes around so much. She loves being read to, sung to, tinkled, and she also seems to really like it when we dance for her. Saylor also has a fascination with dogs, she seriously loves them and whenever she is near one she can't take her eyes off of them. Saylor is finally sleeping through the night which has been amazing for me!! Most days she sleeps in until 9 or 10 which means I can too! (I really need it after being sleep deprived for so long) Here are some pictures of my most favorite little girl in the world...

I just love when she turns her head to the side and looks at me like, "huh?"

I love her new beanie!

I was trying to show Saylor how to crawl in this video and she thought it was pretty funny stuff.

Here is Saylor showing off her backwards crawling skills.

Park City

For my mom's 50th birthday my dad surprised her with a weekend in Park City with all her sisters, her mom, her daughter (me) and her favorite grand daughter Saylor. We had such a fun time! Friday we spent all day at the outlets and I got some amazing deals and super cute stuff from all the baby stores they had...gymboree, children's place, baby gap, old navy, osh kosh, carter's...I was in heaven. It really is so wierd that I have such an obcession with shopping for baby clothes because I have always really hated shopping. On Saturday we went on the Alpine slide and we also did the new Alpine coaster which was so insanely fun. You get on this little cart that takes you way up the mountain and when you come back down it is just like an intense roller coaster but you get to control your own speed. I rode with my mom and we were laughing and screaming out of control the whole time because I never touched the brakes so we were going full speed. You go around some crazy corners and it feels like you are going to fly off. Wow it was fun. While we were there we also ate out, played a lot of games, sat in the hot tub, ate yummy food, walked around downtown Park City and just relaxed. It was a great weekend (I did really miss Ty but he got to go to Vegas for the BYU game)
I wish I would have taken more pics, of coarse I got a few of Saylor.
Saylor loved my mom's balloons!
Happy 50th Mom!!! I can't believe she is 50, you'd never know by looking at her, she looks amazing!

On our way home from Park City there was a big accident so we had to take a crazy detour over the mountain. It actually turned out nice though because we got to stop at Cascade Springs and I had never been there.

Saylor with her Great-Grandma Leavitt and Grandma JoAnn

Saylor had so much fun hanging out with her grandma, great-grandma and all her great aunts! Everyone kept saying what a happy baby she is.
