Easter and such...

Happy Easter!
Here are my girls in their matching Easter dresses.

We had a super delicious dinner and a fun Easter egg hunt with lots of kids!
Even Oakley got to find an egg

At the rainy SAA Easter egg hunt. Say got her eggs and then said, "Ok, I'm ready to go home!"

We have had some amazing weather out here in Missouri. The springs here are the best. It was even warm enough for Saylor to go swimming in the lake!
Our awesome friends the Oldhams came back for 3rd year testing and stayed at our house for a few days. It was SO much fun hanging out with them! I think I had forgotten how cool they are, we love their family!
So I had another incident cutting Ty's hair...I can't believe he actually lets me touch it anymore. My hair cuts are always so good when I remember to put on the guard...
Here is Jed trying to fix my accident. He actually did a really good job, the bottom was just really short!
These two little besties played and played like they had never been apart.
Saylor snuggled up to George every chance she got! Our friend asked Saylor if she'd been kissing George and when Saylor answered yes, she said," uh-oh!" Saylor quickly responded, "It's not uh-oh, it's just nice!"
Frosting Easter sugar cookies with George and Jack. We got to hang out with the Sandgrens too, we miss all our 3rd year friends!
We've got another little romance with our children starting with Carter and Oakley now! It was so hilarious because Carter wanted to ride Oakley like a horse and she didn't mind one bit!
So many 3rd years came back to visit and it was so fun to see everyone! We went to Colton's with everyone to catch up.
It was so good to see the Applonie's too!
Say holding her cousin Paige

Saylor also had so much fun playing with Jack.
Trying to get a good picture of my girls in their matching dresses after church and being very unsuccessful...

Saylor got to go on her first Daddy Daughter date and she was so excited! They had a dance and Saylor told me all day that she was going to the ball. She wore her Cinderella dress she got from Grandma for her birthday.

This little cutie is 8 months old! She is just as wild as ever and has started to pull up on things and let go and stand there for a second before she loses her balance and falls. This girl is fearless.
Oakley has also decided she no longer wants to eat baby food even though she still doesn't have any teeth. She just wants to do everything like a big girl. Her favorite foods are cut up strawberries and bananas and she wants to eat them all day long!
So that's the update for now. Who knows when I'll get a chance to post again...We are moving this weekend (less than a mile away from our current house) so we won't have internet for a while. My half marathon is only 10 days away and we leave for Utah at the end of next month!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Oh I just love celebrating holidays. It makes it even more fun as Saylor gets older and can really get into it.When we woke up on St. Patrick's Day a leprechaun had turned our breakfast green! We ate green eggs and ham and then of coarse had to read the book!
Kirksville had a cute little parade downtown
A bunch of friends at the parade
Saylor jumping in the bounce house after the parade
She even got to meet a leprechaun!
Later that day we had a little leprechaun hunt. Saylor was SO excited. She couldn't believe our milk had been turned green!
The Leprechaun sent us on a little scavenger hunt leaving us clues and little traces of green candy all throughout the house and backyard.
Saylor found a pot of gold at the end and some leprechaun footprints running away!
We ended the day with some delicious rainbow cupcakes!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

St. Louis

This past week was Ty's spring break so we took a little trip down to St. Louis with our friends the Miner's. Here we are at the arch!
Saylor loved playing in the Mississippi River
The weather was so seriously beautiful. We packed a little picnic lunch and ate on the grass right under the arch overlooking the Mississippi River, what a view!
Me and my Girls

The kids did awesome in their strollers
We ran into our friend's The Cranney's while we were there, we were staying at the same hotel and didn't even know! We hung out at the free science museum together.

Nice smile Say!

Ty and Saylor flying an airplane
Playing with Andrew, Saylor was so excited to see him!
This was actually one of my favorite parts of the museum. They had a glass walkway that went right over the freeway.
Checking out the cars through the floor
This was my other favorite part...The T-Rex!
It's been 80 degree weather all week in Missouri and we've been soaking it up. We of coarse had to hit up the zoo. It was strange going from being in Chicago a couple weeks ago and it being so freezing to going to St. Louis and it being total summer weather. I definitely prefer wearing shorts and flip flops to bundling up in pants and coats!

Oaks just being cute in her stroller

Saylor and the Orangatang
We love the penguin house! You can get so close up so my goal this time was to try and touch one. I sure did but I also got yelled at by the zoo worker that popped up out of nowhere. Oh well, it was worth it.
In the butterfly room

We also met up with our friends, the Howards at the zoo
Saylor and Kellen walked around the whole zoo holding hands, it was super cute!
We had a great time! We also got to do some shopping and eat at OG, yummy!
