Memorial Day Weekend

Yay!!! For Memorial Day we got to go up to Boise which was much needed because I was getting really homesick. It was just what I needed to have a relaxing weekend with my family and just enjoy Boise. On Sunday night we went down to Municipal Park and played soccer, football, made cobbler and walked around the nature center. I have the best family in the entire world! Every time I am around them I am constantly laughing hysterically and having fun. I forget how great they are until we spend a weekend there and it is so hard for me to leave them. Boise is also just the greatest place on the planet. Whenever I go there I am just so extremely happy. Even Ty always tells me when we are there, "Man, I forget how happy you are when we are here." I guess you can only understand if you have lived in Boise before. Me and Ty only have 3 more years until we can move there!

Sand Dunes

For our last fieldtrip of the year we got to go to the sand dunes! It was so much fun to just be able to hang out and play with my students and not worry about disciplining them. Ty also came which made it very fun (my kids all think he is the coolest thing that ever happened-and he is).

Stewart Falls

I have been feeling extra sad this week because this is usually about the time we move up to Boise for the summer. This summer Ty is taking classes so we had to stay in Utah. We are excited to be here but I am missing my fam and just missing Boise. On top of that, our best friends ever Matt and Sarah just moved to Texas so we are missing them too. So, to cheer me up Ty wanted to go on a hike because being outside just always makes me happy. It really worked! Being up in the mountains just felt so great. We hiked up to Stewart Falls which was gorgeous. Most people just hike to the bottom of the waterfall but we wanted a closer look so we climbed right up to it. (This is why we may look kind of wet in some of the pictures.) The mist soaked us but it felt refreshing and the view from the top was amazing and well worth the wet, slippery hike up. People were taking pictures of us from down below because I think they thought we might die. I'm so greatful for Heavenly Father's beautiful creations he has made for us to enjoy, I am constantly a
mazed by all the beautiful things that surround me!

Autumn's State Track Meet

On Saturday we got to go watch Tyler's little sister Autumn in the state track meet at BYU. Autumn got 8th in the state in high jump! She was the only girl on her track team to place at state. Her dedication to track is amazing. Good job Autumn, we love you tons!
