Test Days

So far Ty has had two big test days.  The week and especially the weekend right before the test is AWFUL!   We really don't see him at all because he is studying day and night.  But...the day of the test is actually quite wonderful! Ty takes his test in the morning and then has the rest of the day off!!  After his first block test I couldn't remember ever feeling so excited just to spend the day with him!  We decided to go out to the lake with a bunch of friends to celebrate.

 Here we go!
I'm pretty sure Lisa (the very pregnant one in the middle) had her baby like 2 days after this!

Saylor happy to play in the sand!
It was seriously such a perfect day.  The weather was gorgeous, the water was warm, so many fun friends and best of all I got a stress-free Ty all day long!  After swimming we went over to the point and had a BBQ.
I had to throw in this random cute picture of my girls.  I think they are both so beautiful.
This past Monday was Ty's second big test day so we wanted to plan another fun day after the test was over.  We decided to head down to Columbia for the day and take our kids to Bonkers.

Say was ecstatic to get to hang out with Daddy!
Elliana and Oakley going down the slide together!

 They did this several times....haha

You know I got in on the playing action too!  This place was awesome!
Not sure what Oaks is sad about but she sure looks cute!

Saylor and her new friend Eden.  They had so much fun together and held hands everywhere they went.

We also got to do some shopping and eat at Olive Garden which was so yummy!  Another super fun day!

Saylor's 1st Day of Preschool

I can't believe my little Saylor is in preschool!  The first few days I really did miss her but I am learning to enjoy my alone time with Oakley and my break from Saylor:)  It feels crazy to  only have one kid for a few hours a day.  Me and Oaks get to run errands together, go eat lunch with Daddy at school and just hang out and play one on one.  Saylor is absolutely LOVING preschool! She goes for 3 hours 4 times a week, it feels like kindergarten!  She has a fantastic teacher and lots of friends in her class. Saylor is so wiped out after preschool that she usually comes home and takes a 2 hour nap.

She was SO excited for her 1st day!

 Her excited face, ha!

(Have I mentioned that Saylor is hilarious?)
Here she is in her classroom getting ready to start her 1st day!
Sure love you Saylor!

Bowling and Nauvoo with the Fam

Ty's family comes to see us every summer and we always have so much fun.  There isn't a whole lot to do in Kirksville so they are good sports to pretty much do the same things every time they visit.  The things always on the agenda....Nauvoo, bowling, the pool, the lake, and of coarse lots and lots of Settlers.

We had tons of fun Bowling and it actually turned out to be cosmic bowling while we were there so it turned into a big dance party.

Say loves to bowl and especially loves to dance...here are some of her moves!

Playing an arcade game with Uncle Tallon
It was Ty's dad's first visit to Missouri to see us and his first ever visit to Nauvoo so it was fun showing him around.

We stopped at the park to have a picnic and let the kids play
Oaks is a big fan of the slide!
