White Coat Ceremony

Yay for White Coat!  Ty worked so hard to get to this point and I am so proud of him! (Sorry for the overload of pictures, we are just so excited!)

 Finally getting his white coat!
Saylor taking some silly pictures during the ceremony.  She did great!  Thanks to the Miners for taking Oakley so we could enjoy it without chasing her everywhere!

Mike and Ty, these guys have been studying together a lot of years...with lots more to come.
I love my husband!  He looks pretty good in that white coat.  He is also sporting the Boise State blue and orange, love it!

We wanted to try on the white coats too!
It was so fun to have both our moms here!  They were so good at sharing our kids.

Thanks to all the family that came out to support us!

Us with our new friends, the Hills.  We seriously love these guys.  We met them at church one Sunday and invited them over and have hung out with them pretty much everyday since.

Happy Birthday Oaks!

One year ago...
this little cutie joined our family!

This past year has been quite an adventure trying to figure out how to handle two crazy, busy, spunky little girls but we wouldn't have it any other way!
We sure love this girl!
At one year old Oakley is quite the professional walker, runner and climber!  When we are at the park she can climb up the stairs of the playground and go down the slide all by herself!  She wants to do everything like a big girl.  She is still totally a mama's girl and my favorite is when she wraps her arms around my neck and gives me the best hugs! Oaks has four teeth on top and two on bottom, I just love her cheesy little grin!  She can say mama, dada, baba (bottle), hello and thank you.  She loves to carry my cell phone around and say hello, hello! Oakley is already completely into babies and carries dolls around and wraps them up in blankets and pushes them in the stroller.  Oakley loves to clap, give kisses, wave bye-bye, and blow kisses.  She is at the cutest age!

We were so lucky to have so much family in town for Oakley's birthday.
Here she is opening her presents, with lots of help from Sister of coarse.

She was a little bit timid at first...

But eventually dove right in!

We love you Oaks and are so happy to have you in our family!

St. Louis

In all my summer posts I didn't write anything about our fun couple of weeks in Boise.  My camera was dead so all we had to take pictures was our ipad.  I posted some on facebook but we had such a great time camping at Stanley Lake, Starlight Mountain Theater, Mountain Biking, Riding bikes on the greenbelt to Westside and at the new aquarium.  Just a few weeks after getting to spend time at my parents they came out to see us in Missouri!  It was my dad's first trip to see us so we were pretty excited!

We took my dad to see the Amish people in LaPlata (about 15 min. from our house).  I told my dad that it was my goal before we moved away from Missouri to get a ride in an Amish buggy.  My dad offered this nice Amish lady $5 to give me a ride and she was happy to do it!  I was so excited!
Saylor just loves her Grandpa Chandler.  He seriously tells the best stories ever and Say just eats them up.  Ty took this pic of Say listening to a bedtime story from Grandpa.
We headed down to spend some time with my parents in St. Louis.  My dad is a HUGE Cardinals fan so he was pretty excited to be going to a game!
Say was so excited to be wearing matching Cardinal shirts with Grandpa!

Walking to see the arch

This girl is dancing wherever we go, it cracks me up.

In the Cardinals Stadium!

We had AMAZING seats!  We were like the 5th row.

Ty even caught a ball! It was heading straight for me and Oakley's heads so I was taking cover and Ty reached up with those super long arms of his and caught the ball!
Such a fun night!
We of coarse had to check out the St. Louis Zoo the next day.
Say loves the Hippos!

Always ready to pose!

Thanks for such a fun trip Mom and Dad!!  Come again soon!
